The words of Kurohogan Yoshitsune (Minamotono Yoshitsune) in the Tale of the Heike are expressed emotionally in a variety of turns of phrase. Yoshitsune who is angry, Yoshitsune who laughs. Yoshitsune who grieves, Yoshitsune who threatens. Would you like to hear Yoshitsune’s voice in The Tale of the Heike Listened to by Heike Biwa accompaniment? This is a small concert of scenes of Yoshitsune speaking from the Tale of the Heike, a 40-minute short performance version (a shortened version of the full performance).
