Would you like to hear Yoshitsune’s voice in The Tale of the Heike Listened to by Heike Biwa accompaniment? Minamoto no Yoshitsune continues to fascinate us throughout the ages. The words of Kurohankan Yoshitsune (Minamoto no Yoshitsune) in the Tale of the Heike are richly expressed with emotion in a variety of musical passages. Yoshitsune is angry, Yoshitsune laughs, Yoshitsune is sad, Yoshitsune is threatened. We will hold a small concert featuring scenes of Yoshitsune speaking from the Tale of the Heike. As this is a 40-minute short performance version (a shortened version of the full performance), the program will be a condensed version of “Sakaro,” “Tsuginobusaigo” “NasunoYoichi,” and “Yuminagashi”.
This time, the concert will be held in the afternoon on a weekday & will be a 40-minute concert where you can listen to it sitting in a chair. Please feel free to register. We look forward to seeing you at the venue.
