[about this course].
The Tale of the Heike Heike Listened to by Heike Biwa @ KamakuraKomachian is a reading class held at Komachian, a study place in Kamakura. Why don’t you come and listen to Heike biwa performance and storytelling while everyone recites a story picked up once a month? Don’t worry if you don’t understand the story or the words seem difficult…! The course will proceed slowly with hiragana text. This is a course, but we will study history! It is not a course to master how to read! It is not a course to study history or to master how to read. We will read the story out loud (don’t worry if you make mistakes) and cherish the feelings you get when you hear the performance. We aim to offer such a relaxing course. One-person participation is welcome.
